I have native toads and lizards and introduced Mediterranean house geckos around the house and in the yard eating pests. They occasionally get in and I can usually catch them. Sometimes not, and sometimes they turn up dried out behind some piece of furniture. More often I expect they find an exit.

Last night all of us had gone to bed and Cinnamon was asleep on her bed on the floor when she got up and stood by the door. I opened it and followed her into the living room where Zeke was eating something. Turns out he pulled one of 2 eggplants off of the kitchen counter. Busted by Cinnamon. Now I'm one down for the dish I was going to make, but I have more almost ready in the garden.

A day dedicated to generally decluttering, dusting, and vacuuming. And I've found a program I'm going to stream via NetFlix from the beginning.

Hoping for rain today. I'm doing my laundry early and will hang out on the line this morning. Afternoon showers are predicted.
