Ah Flora, but that leads us onto bargain rather than price.

I recently paid well over a grand for a guitar that was hand made for me, yet my reference for basing tone, action etc was a Lowden at three times that. As the guitar was a success in my view, that's a bargain.

Yet will it hold value as it would with Lowden written on the headstock?

Easier to stick to cheapest in pounds or dollars on this thread I reckon!
