The 2014 (15th Annual) Portsmouth (NH) Maritime Folk Festival (PMFF) will be taking place September 27th and 28th, in downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

We've got a great lineup -- Andy Kenna, Moira Craig & Caroly Robson, John Roberts, Dave Peloquin, Jerry Bryant, Ken Schatz, Alison Lee Freeman, Jeff Warner, and lots of local talent such as Emery Hutchins, London Julie, Great Bay Sailor, Mudhook...

Everything is FREE! From the music at historic houses to the Saturday night concert, street busking, mini-concerts and open sings (TWO venues on Saturday), closing shanty blast on Sunday... Please check the online schedule. There have been a couple venue changes this year.

There will be a musical tribute at the Saturday evening concert to Tom Hall (Mudcat's Curmudgeon) and to Bob Webb, both of whom passed away towards the end of last year. Tom was part of every festival since it started in 2000 and Bob Webb performed at all of them except the first.

The festival actually kicks off with the regular Friday evening trad session at The Press Room (4:30-9:00) on Daniel St. to get everyone in a nautical mood.
