Played hooky today, aka sick leave. Went to 2 dentists to learn that while they can see a tender spot on my gum, it isn't much to worry about. Go in for a deep cleaning in a couple of months if it persists. I'm just glad it doesn't seem to be anything like a popcorn kernel skin jammed in so hard it has to be removed surgically. Yuck.
