I have attended several Folk Gatherings this year. Some provide plenty of opportunity for floor singers others do not. Sometimes the quality of floor singers is better than the booked acts and it seems a shame when they don't get a chance to display their talents. Isn't the point of a Gathering as opposed to a Festival to give newer talent a chance to perform?
