We are just giving a correct definition, as distinct from those who are doing what semanticists call 'over-defining'-- by which they mean trying to subsume more under an extant definition than its connotations can bear. You are the ones doing the claiming, in demanding a specific nominal status for an entity by which it is inaccurately designated.

I say again -- It's a free country: call it all 'folk' if you like. But remember that, if you then proceed to call every article of household furniture in your house 'a chair', you might have difficulty in deciding where to park your arse.
