Thank you, Sandra. I am deeply indebted to my Aunt Chris. It's a long story which I will get around to telling...but not yet.

Gnu, I can't remember whether Pat PM'd me the following blessing, or if it was part of a regular post. I am not a 'Man of God', but the words are still redolent with meaning & fit perfectly with the Man I grew to know & love...I can almost hear his voice speaking this:

       "May the good earth be soft under you 
when you rest upon it,
and may it rest easy over you when,
at the last, you lay out under it,
And may it rest so lightly over you
 that your soul may be out 
from under it quickly,
and up, and off,
And be on its way to God."
