Thread Name: Lyr Req: 300 Irish rebel songs to trade
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: 300 IRISH REBEL SONGS TO TRADE
Ireland and Scotland have a long history of exploitation by the English. These songs represent the feelings of of anger and disappointment of the Irish for hundreds of years.
On the other thread i posted titled SCOTLAND,which i doubt anyone took the time to read, the connection between Scotland and Ireland concerning England can be clearly seen.

We,Scotland and Ireland ,are of a different race than the English, unfortunately our close proximity to MOTHER ENGLAND has aggravated this condition. All we ever wanted was to be left alone to follow our own destiny as a separate, but equal, part of the Brotherhood of Man.

Those of you who are interest in these songs[Irish and Scottish] and would like to know the history of the relationship between us and them will find a wealth of information regarding our struggle for independance.

Having said that,i realise that times have changed mostly for the better but there is still a mind-set regarding the the superiority of our neighbors.
That's it,ah'm gaun back tae mah ain Scots tounge noo.Hae a read at baith these posts,ye'll find them tae be a bit o ane eye opener. Then again, wha cares.
