BPM's matter but only for some songs.... bpm's are for aerobics and others are for stretches.

Aerobic can be in low 80's. Keep in mind that bpm's can double or halve as well. So 60 also = 120 (too fast).

Songs from their dancing days will be best, and you can adjust speed as needed. Amazon does have all this available if that's simpler. Simply doing as they asked would be a great start and give you an idea what to look for. Their activities director would prob rather have you play live (record that).

My best slow pcs for stretching were Ennio Morricone (NOT classical). Slow ballads also good.
