I was playing a bar gig in Eureka Montana. There were a bunch of Canadians who had snuck across the border to drink. And they kept coming up to the bandstand and asking for THE RODEO SONG. When I told each and every one of them that I didn't know it, they would start chanting "I get in my truck and I don't give a fuck "cause I'm off to the rodeo.", as if I was a telepath who could immediately respond with the rest of the song. After umpteen requests I started singing THE CASTRATION OF THE STRAWBERRY ROAN. I did not hear a peep out of them for the rest of the evening.
