The fellow who played that sax solo, Raphael Ravenscroft, died a couple of weeks ago (19 October 2014). I heard that it was intended for another instrument, but the guy who played the other instrument wasn't there at the time, so Ravenscroft did it on the sax, and they kept it in. Maybe so, maybe an urban legend.
