Cold blustery rainy day here today. Some kind of crisis in another department in this building - I've heard of it only, not the nature of it. I think I don't want to know.

The dog area was spiffed up over the weekend so they're set for cooler temperatures while they're in the garage. I have the doors closed but one window open, and soon that window will be closed. Once it gets really cold I'll set up the oil heater next to their stall and plug it into a thermo-plug that turns on when the air reaches a certain temperature and stays on until it reaches a temp about 15 degrees warmer. It means I don't need to go out to turn the heater on and off.

In the fresh from the garden department, I'm going to look up a recipe for pickled okra and get ready to bread and fry some more eggplant.

I need to get a bead project started. That's coming out of a bin on my dining table, so once I have the materials selected I can keep just that bit of stuff handy to work with and set the bin aside and be able to use the table for the holidays.

My chandelier will probably ship later in the week. I don't use UPS often and the connection between my account there and eBay was messed up. I had to reset it and for some reason they want 3 or 4 days before they send me an email authorizing the eBay rates for shipping. It'll save me about $30 so is worth the wait. But it is a pain in the butt.
