I finally pulled out the owners manual for my stove and looked up the F1 code that blinks when the oven doesn't start properly. It says there is an error and to unplug it for 30 seconds then replug. Which is not easy because of course one must move the stove out to reach the plug.

The error is still there, so the manual says to leave it unplugged and call a service repair person. I don't like this stove so I'm not going to waste good money on a service call. I'll probably buy a new stove at Sears and for $75 have them deliver it and take the old one. I guess there is a reason the chandelier sold just now! I have a short list of activity for this weekend.

Just about everyone I voted for lost - typical when a liberal democrat lives in a GOP dominated state. It is a reminder every couple of years of how gullible people are - how they respond to the huge buck$ pumped into the state by rich republicans who want to keep getting richer, and the only way they can do it is by convincing voters to vote against their own self-interest. We need to get rid of the Citizens United decision before real political discourse can continue.

Off my soap box. It's a rainy cool day, seems about right for the mood. On the other hand, once I get the new stove I can get started with some cold weather cooking and baking! That always helps fix the mood.
