Here is the worst part. It (bottom jaw) does not hurt as much as the upper companion. The upper molar was subject to the vibration of the drill when contacted while he was working on the lower jaw molar because the space to work was so tight. I wonder how he will react when I tell him that in a few weeks when the crown goes in. Docs sometimes don't believe me.
