Last time I wanted to make Yorkshire puddings to take to my daughter's place when we were having dinner together I found that the oven wasn't working.

It was taken apart and just looked at, and it started working again - I remember to test it from time to time now. The jolting, or a component being turned over might have done the trick, so it is worthwhile having a poke around. Over the years I have received some very nice but not working items which have been easy to fix.
