Subject: RE: Nov-Dec 2014 Declutter & Fitness
I started with the picking, a few okra and a plant of jalapeno peppers. A lot more to go in the next few days, and then cutting up and freezing them.

I was over at Home Depot today getting the replacement parts for the master toilet (I said I wouldn't spend money on it, but $15 is less than a new loo when I just had to replace the electric range) and a man was outside with a boxed generator. I asked him a couple of questions and he offered to sell it to me for cash at a discount because he couldn't return it (no receipt) and didn't want a store credit. I don't buy stuff that way, so declined, but it was a reminder that another purchase I'd like to make is a generator to keep my big deep freeze in business if we get another long outage like last month (not at my house, but in the area).

My stove is now in the middle of the room, and the new one comes in tomorrow afternoon. Susie and I ate dinner then cleared up grease that had dripped and puddled behind and below. Yuck. Then up to her house to clear out stuff on her bedroom desk. I got her DSL up and running (the modem had been turned off - easiest fix I've ever made, just pushing the "on" button!)

It helps the mood to work together and to help someone else solve their issues.
