So nice to see the restart with Westerin' Home. I feel like no time has past since I've been away.

K. Normally I stick to songs with choruses, but here's a nice change from the mega-chorus songs:

COMING OF THE SNOW by Rod McDonald, 1991

I use capo 3 with: (G) D D G G / D D G G / C C G G / D D GG

(When you de)cide to return again to the land that raised you
You find yourself travellin' back to your New England home
And you're passin' through and you run into somebody I used to know
Tell her I've been thinkin' about her in the comin' of the snow

And when you're standing on the pier by the empty harbor
And the fishin' boats are lying quiet until the spring
And you need a fire to sit beside while the winter weaves out its blow
Tell her I've been thinkin' about her in the comin' of the snow

And if you awaken with her long hair spread across your shoulders
And the day outside is as dark as her eyes
Take care to hold her close into the morning
And she will be true to you if you love her more than I

And if you're travellin' in the woods I used to walk along
And you find a rock a there standin' in the fallen leaves
And a chill should pass through the arms that cradle her longin'
You know that you can take her hand one more time for me

Instrumental

When you decide to return again to the land that raised you
You find yourself travellin' back to your New England home
And you're passin' through and you run into somebody I used to know
Tell her I've been thinkin' about her in the comin' of the snow
Tell her I've been thinkin' about her in the comin' of the snow
Tell her I've been thinkin' about her in the comin' of the snow
