Michelle, that sounds like a great crash course on how to work this the next time - and as the commercial says, that is priceless! Think of it as a specialized garage sale, something I'm sure you know how to put behind you once it is finished. I have some craft ideas I'd like to put into action, I've gone so far as to price out materials, but I think I'd have to sell online. The UPS connection finally came through on eBay, and it saves about half of the standard cost of shipping. I'll drop that off in a few minutes. The sale of the chandelier covers the cost of the new stove. I'd hoped to bank it, but I can live with this outcome, and having a stove and oven that are safe means more than just having a transaction that might otherwise cause buyer's remorse. It is a relief to take a hazard out of the house.
