It is lovely to finally have that huge box out from underfoot. The dimensions of the UHaul moving box were 25" x 24" x 21" tall. Now it is on its way to California to a room being remodeled. I need to put a lot of things away - now that I have the new oven the roaster oven can go into the pantry for a couple of weeks (until Thanksgiving), I can put some of the extra canning jars away (given me by a friend) in the bottom of the pantry, and I need to sweep and mop the floor in the sun room and hall outside my office and pantry. Ages ago I talked about making the entry way I use a welcoming space - it has been a piled up storage space for a long time, but I think now I can tidy it and possibly even stage some of the areas in it.

I need to call some friends about Thanksgiving. I think they need to get out of a shell they're constructing, not sure what the origins, but it looks unhappy. We can help each other this year.
