I keep hoping that people will get smarter and question everything, not just what's going on on the other side. I keep hoping people will realize their vote is more powerful than money. I keep wanting "smart" to be stronger than "stupid", and then Teapers elect some bimbo with the ability to be an attractive puppet, and I throw my hands up.

The "Occupy" movement was a start, but people just didn't seem to have limits on what they were willing to sacrifice and gave up. "Oh, my vacation time is up and they'll kick me out of my job/college if I don't go back." Things haven't become bad enough for people to be serious. I don't know what it will take for that to happen, but I think it will. I HOPE it will.

I don't think it's just money that rules the world. I think it's education, too. I think if you teach people to just believe and not to question, they teach their kids, and it becomes fairly easy to insinuate someone's particular "truth" into the dogma. Then, you try to shame those who question for trying to be smarter.
