Dorothy, the dogs may pile into one spot - when they're in the garage stall I don't see how they arrange themselves, and there is no sneaking up on dogs to see what they're doing. As soon as I touch the door they pour out of the garage to see what is up. Maybe I should set up a "Dog Cam" out there. :)

Winter has arrived, in typical Texas fashion. Earlier in the week the high temperatures were up in the 80s. Now the highs are in the high 30s or low 40s. I need to tweak the programmable thermostat since my work schedule has changed as much as it has. I know I've harped on this - it is always such a shock when it goes from hot to cold with little pretense toward mild autumn in between.

Time to make a push on small items on eBay, and to stage the photos with a tree ornament (no included in the sale) and offer gift wrapping (for a modest cost, or perhaps as a free option.) I moved a big chunk of the paypal balance to the bank but left enough in there to cover some of my seasonal shipping costs (the post office takes paypal). These small sales go toward my postal needs.

Has anyone else been watching and gotten a terrific boost from the landing on the comet adventure this week? It's nice to see a pure science event take the limelight with a look at humanity at its best via technology and cooperation.
