Big day in a small way for me, today. I'm playing guitar & mandolin for a recording session at a local studio. Haven't played 'properly' since 2005. I've heard the song, so I know roughly what will be expected of me...some solid rhythm playing on guitar & the occasional 'fill' on mandolin. I'm looking forward to the session immensely...only three of us...we've known each other for ages, so we'll probably end up talking & drinking tea more than recording! It's a reunion for the three of us. We haven't worked together for several years...life & all it's vicissitudes getting in the way, but a chance meeting in the street; a brief phone call & voilà...take 1.
