Don't worry, Jeri, you'll find it next year when you pull out that particular garment you hid it in. :)

Today I called my Internet provider to get a credit applied to my bill (worked) and asked about the ads they have been mailing about a new faster Internet service. Turns out the old "legacy" service, that I had cost $10 more a month and was half the new speed of the new one. So I switched to the new speed and my bill will go down by $10. I can't take advantage of the introductory offer they were advertising, but this will do. Even next month when that new service goes up by $5, I'll still be ahead by $5. Now I need to go ahead and put a solid state C: drive in my computer and speed it up on this end.

Yesterday I was looking at the solid state drives on Amazon - sales come along for a few hours at a time. I searched other places as well and there always seems to be some kind of a sale going. I've researched the changeout and am convinced it is pretty easy. I'll make a list of specs and watch for sales and when the right one at the right price comes along, I'll pounce. It's too easy to make a mistake if you shop those sales without knowing very well what it is you really want. The tyranny of all of these holiday short-term sales.

As far as the fitness end of things, my recent exercise is mowing (both front and back yards this weekend) and stair climbing. I'm doing the alternate day fasting still but haven't lost much weight as the holidays approach. I'll be content to not gain weight, keeping in mind that I have a 10-15 pound loss goal to get to my ideal weight. I think exercise is probably the way to finally reach that point.
