Last night I looked around and decided it was time to move out the last cathode ray tube in the house. The television under consideration is a small (13") flat screen one with a DVD player on the front. I never use it, and I imagine the range of disks it can play is inadequate to what is out there now. It is in the sunroom awaiting my decision where to take it - there is am e-waste recycle bin at work, but I could drop it at the Goodwill. No point in accumulating donation slips any more, I won't have enough mortgage interest to let me do itemized deductions this year. I could drive to the back door of the library to take it in. I think that's what I'll do, though I'll check with Moonglow first to see if there is some project she could use it for.
