So, a half sesame, half olive oil mix would be good for stovetop cooking? I am allergic to coconut so that is out. I have a misto bottle that I put oil in and pump to spray onto baking pans and occasionally a skillet. I've used macadamia oil, it is good, healthy as far as Omega 3, and high heat, but it is about $10 a small bottle. I buy my olive and sesame oil from a Middle Eastern market where the imported oil is bottled from locations as small as a single village, not from a giant industrial conglomerate pooling oil from all around the Mediterranean to sell to the states.

Another pan of tomatoes was sauced this evening and it is cooking down now. They were kind of dry, so I'm not canning, I'll freeze this batch. Home grown tomatoes for sauce - I am so spoiled.

Getting ready to make cookies, I'll start with spritz because my daughter has imprinted on them as THE best and classic xmas cookie. And krumkaka, in a day or two. I'm not making the whole batch I usually do, or if I make more, it will be to give to neighbors.
