It's a squeaker, but the new shelves will fit. I have to move the power strip on the wall up a few inches (my router and modem are high up on a shelf and this power strip is also for a lamp in there). It will be a process of extracting the shelves when I need anything, but it should hold all of the canning jars plus some of the more frequently used equipment. Or perhaps jars in the back on the bottom and a lot of stable (as in, it won't fall when I move the rolling shelves) stuff on the rolling shelves.

My theory is that if I can get all of this stuff put away, then I can clear the kitchen more easily because I won't have as much in there to fool with. And then to the kitchen table, and finally the dining room table - domino effect decluttering.
