Xmas Eve

Long walk with alleged dog.
Make mince pies (Mary Berry? nah! You haven't tasted mine
Into town to spend afternoon peeling veg at the homeless centre
Back home, get log on fire, finish stew cooking
Family arrive. Eat, drink, merry and all that.

Xmas Day

Whatever my granddaughter says, (or points, she isn't two yet.)
But peeling spuds, crossing farting crackers and massaging the bird will take up some of the morning.

Boxing Day

Repeat. But at son's house.
