Is there still folk in the Jolly Anglers? I might be passing in a few weeks. It was a regular end of tour for Gorton Morris before it was altered, with a bit of a session. We were there one night in a real pea souper and couldn't dance on the road till a couple of coppers asked what we were doing, got on the radio and ordered a ring of cop cars with full lights on so we could dance in the middle. The odd car coming along Ducie St definitely got a shock!
