If you are going to include the jet ski, you have to include the snow mobile. Snow mobiles are safer, though, as they have something solid to ride on and use for steering and braking.
Basically, the jet ski is derived from the snow mobile. Similar engines and such. The manufacturers had to have something to sell in the summer.
