Ed, I said that with tongue in cheek. I don't actually believe that the reason why women spend so much money and energy on clothes is because men require them to do so. Nor do I believe that they make themselves uncomfortable with high-heels and restraining garments because men force them, as Leeneia suggested. I tried to use extreme irony, to make sure no one would think I was serious, but apparently I failed. I apologize for the distress that apparently caused you.
