I find this entire idea totally illogical. Spock has a standard issue Starfleet phaser. He can blast the shit out of rocks, paper, scissors, lizards, and pretty much anything up to and including small planets. You can't beat Spock. If Spock's in the game, just pick up your rock, paper, whatever, and go home. Unless one of your options is a tactical nuclear weapon....
