Don! You didn't remind me (gently or otherwise)!

I have been remiss, distracted by St. Patrick's Week (month...), not that I had any gigs, but plenty of friends did including at The Press Room where Tom and his band (Cuckoo's Nest, Great Bay Company) played from the first Press Room St. Patrick's Day in 1977 until 2009 (Tom lost his voice in June and was diagnosed with vocal cord cancer in September.) Tom Hall led the St. Patrick's evening entertainment for 33 years and I was there with him for 28 of those years. After great thought, I decided to stay home with my memories. I was at The Press Room in spirit...but I was time traveling.

Anyway, the March sea music, forebitter, fo'c'sl ballad, and shanty sing is THIS SATURDAY, March 21, 2015 from 3:30 to 7:30 downstairs at The Press Room, 77 Daniel Street, Portsmouth, NH, USA.

Hope a lot of you, now that "silly season" is over, will come out and sing for the sheer joy of singing. No stage, no microphones, just camaraderie, pub food, good beer, and even a bit of history and lore.
