As to Jim, and I'm asking this, in good faith.....

Why is it, or how do you reconcile, being 'progressively minded', or 'left of center' when 'progressives' tend to identify with the liberals in the Democrat Party, as in Democracy, and promote women's rights, and equality for all, promote tolerance with homosexuality rights', and you make Israel, who just had their democratic elections, and have shown tolerance to homosexuals, and have been VERY supportive of women's rights(even had a woman Prime Minister), out to be the 'villain', and favor support to the Muslims, who don't believe in Democracy, favor Sharia Law, which is very much against 'women's rights, homosexuality, and appears to use extremely violent and cruel methods, to facilitate their expansions?

Now, it's a fair question, posed with no contentious motives...and matter of fact, I'm asking respectfully.
What engine runs in you, to reconcile these two mind-sets??
