Go to the banner at the top of this page, or the Forum Home page, and click on "personal pages". On the personal page, scroll down to "messages". Click on "send a message". In the box provided, type in "alison". There will be a list of about three names, all variatons on alison. Click on the one that just says "alison". It should be the one at the top. Then just type in your message and send it.

When you want to look at your personal messages, there are a couple of ways to do it. If there is a personal message waiting for you there will be a small banner just above the threads to tell you that you have x number of messages. Click on that. That will take you to your messages (or go through the same process that I described for sending a message). Your messages should be listed by member name and title. Click on the title to open. To respond, click on the member name.

You might want to read the FAQ thread at the top of the list of threads for more information about how to function in the Mudcat. I'm going to send you a personal message just so you can try it out and see how it works.

The calendar will actually be for 2001, but it will (true to Mudcat form), be a little quirky. It will probably start with February and end with January.

My next post is going to have to be pretty funny, now, or people might get the wrong idea about me.
