The bean counters have joined ranks and are insisting on assembly line scanning of a project that they want to finish soon. And it is now my job. It's a job that second graders or chimpanzees could do without assistance, but any chimps I know would cry "unfair labor practices" and "cruel and unusual punishment." And parents would ring their hands and weep that their poor children were being used in such a way.
