I've been away since I very tentatively posted for help on essential Rabbie Burns. What a wonderful surprize to return to all of this information! This is exactly what I'd hoped for. Thanks too, for setting me straight on the handle. Don't want to look too foolish.

Guess I'm on the right track, as I know about ¼ of those suggested to date. The biggest challenge of course is remembering the airs and approximating the brogue. Listening to Dougie MacLean renditions makes the task seem more possible, thank goodness.
