Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Hi, my name is Joe, & I work in a button
There is a fantastic version that I have heard but can't find the artist for. Instead of adding moves like pushing buttons they add an instrumental rhythm in each verse and the sounds and rhythms layer throughout the song. It is awesome! The words are slightly varied in each verse "Hello, my name is Joe. I got a wife. And I got five kids. I work, in a button factory. One day, my boss said to me. Joe! Are you busy? I said No. and she said, Do this. As the verses continue the singer sounds more and more stressed in both tone and lyric ..I got a wife. I got five little kids (with exasperation). I work all day... "I said, "not really.." etc... If anyone knows this particular artist please share.
