After a week amongst the large, greedy and slow-moving birds of Cornwall (buzzards and shanty-singers), felt privileged to see three red kites over Lambourne motorway services on the way home. Then discovered there are an estimated 400-500 pairs in the area, and they are beginning to be considered a nuisance.
