I remember seeing this guitar in 1970 at a trade show in Germany, it was a one off prototype for orders to be taken. Not sure what happened to it though I wish I had purchased it I expect it is now worth a small fortune.
The Selmer rep was a guy called John Smith who lived in London at that time.
What was striking was the matched spruce top with the fleur de lyse inlay on the scratch plate and head stock, if I remember it also had the same inlay on each side of the bridge. Stunning guitar.
