Mr. Bonyon used to play at the schools in the area back in the 60s. I was going to Harpswell Islands School at the time, and he was the first person I ever heard playing "Birmingham Sunday." I've been thinking ion on Mr. Bonyon's about him a lot since the horrible church shootings in Charleston, South Carolina yesterday. I'd assumed he was probably dead by now, but was still saddened to hear that he dies in 2001.

I'm also assuming that nobody is really watching this site anymore. But in case I'm wrong, thanks for the source of information on Mr. Bonyon. May he be singing in peace.
