Yesterday I applied Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) products to any containers that might hold enough water to spawn mosquitoes (declutter mosquitoes!) They have been a problem this year. Mosquitoes have gone from merely being a nuisance to the spreaders of serious illness, so keeping them away is important. The next step is to sprinkle granulated garlic around the house, also to repel them.
