I didn't say I *like* getting up early, but it is necessary in order to stay on top of yard work. After a day at the office the yard is too hot.

Sleeping in a hot climate is a science. The AC is set to go on if it reaches 80^o overnight, and each bedroom has a ceiling fan. I run mine on low speed. Sleeping wearing a t-shirt with just a sheet is comfortable, usually after a shower in the evening to avoid feeling sticky-sweaty.
