Congratulations. You have one of the finest instruments going for our sort of purposes. We who know and love Martins are a special sort of cult, dedicated to clear, strong acoustic voice, a gem-like virtue in a world of clangor and over-amplification.

My own D-35 is getting on, and deserves gentler treatment than I have given her in years past, so I will be using her at home. For outings to rougher country than my own living room, or involving sound systems, I will be using my much younger Taylor. But that is in no wise a reflection on the Martin, whose voice is impeccable.
