When I was growing up in South Jersey there were quarries all over the place (builders in north Jersey ...). They were very bad about the holes they left: big hazard. At some point they had to start saving the arable soil and sculpt the big holes that were left. Created at least one nice recreational lake, fed by a natural spring.

Try to at least make sure they won't leave a big mess.

sugar/borax solution is still attracting tons of ants.

I keep acquiring more and more plastic tubs to store stuff in. I seems like such a good solution, but I am running out of space in the garage to stack them ...

now that I have a lot of greens transplanted into my big raised beds, something is chewing the bejeesus out of them.
