I am growing excited about our forthcoming expedition up the River Shannon and along the Shannon-Erne waterway. Peaceful, green, rich in oxygen and blarney--who could ask for more? PLUS a boat. I mean it is just a perfect combination.

I have a newly acquired Taylor in perfect condition. I bought it from a struggling music teacher and so I feel guilty, but he needed the dough and I needed the guitar so I suppose we are even-steven.

I love the guitar. Sweet, bright and a fully configurable sound pickup for those occasions when PA is the rule. Plus it has what the professional luthier refers to as "balls". This means it can project well when strummed vigorously.

There's a neighborhood in Dublin called Dolphin's Barn. I am not too sure about this. I didn't think dolphins even HAD barns, but maybe they do things differently over there, and maybe they have higher porpoises who need barns for some reason. It is comforting to think one will be serving a higher porpoise.
