A factory where 666 Colds Remedy was once manufactured sat at the foot of The Acosta Bridge in my hometown of Jacksonville, FL. (Click for picture.) There was a flashing red neon sign atop the building (you can only see it edgewise in the photo) which was aimed at traffic coming off the bridge. Growing up in a non-religious family, I associated "666" with that sign. I don't think I even knew about the "mark of the beast" thing until the film The Omen came out.
