Back from happy hols. Suitcase full of sticks of rock to see me through to the next pit summer shutdown.

So.. The rookery and I popped into The Wheatsheaf yesterday for a slurp, as one does. Not many managed to make it last week, it seems. As neither of us managed it, I'll keep my trap shut but it does go to show I was right.

They only turn up to hear the rookery's banjo after all. Who'd have thought it eh?

Tonight! Red Lion! Be there or at the very least give us a mental image of a doggy with a bandage on his paw to stir sympathy and forgiveness for not turning out.
