Mom's sons and daughters--scattered! The wounded lying about like so many broken branches after a gale! The parted and departed and imparted and un-parted flying hither and yon! The Guns of August are growing still, their brave cannoneers shaken, muted, dazed and staggering about the planet.

But I say to you, FEAR NOT!! Be NOT dismayed!! Be bold, and hale!! Heal and flourish!! Prosper and rally!! Come forth jeering and blaring and sneering and cavorting!
