All the brambles I have been cursing all summer are now heavy with berries.
There were lots of gooseberries, there is a good crop of apples too - the grapevine I thought had been killed by the DH is now growing again, so it will fruit next year - even though the garden is tiny and the DH has put in a large deck which has taken a lot of useful growing space there is still delight to be found.
