last night at The Dock Shanty Session in the inner Sydney suburb of Redfern we were singing 'Redfern Girls.' This session is run by an enthusiastic group of under 30s, with a sprinkling of great haired & grey-bearded long-time shanty singers & the song was adapted by one of the members.
